Principles

This policy provides the framework for diversity related initiatives within the Group. 

The Company is committed to providing opportunities to allow Group employees to reach their full potential irrespective of individual backgrounds or differences.

Objectives

HFA aims to ensure diversity and the growth of diversity within the Group.  Objectives will be set and an assessment of these objectives will be carried out on an annual basis and reported on in the Company’s Annual Financial Report.

Accountability

The Remuneration and Nomination Committee will be responsible for assessing on an annual basis the achievement against gender diversity objectives, including the representation of women at all levels of the organisation.

Senior Management within the Group are responsible for:

  • implementing initiatives in order to achieve the diversity objectives;
  • reporting to the Remuneration and Nomination Committee on progress against the objectives; and
  • identifying areas within the Company which would benefit from further focus on diversity.

 

The increased focus on diversity at all levels of the business will reinforce the importance of equality in the workplace.  HFA facilitates this practice by making decisions based on merit for internal promotions, leadership development and flexible work arrangements.
